Meet the Staff

MISTI A. MARTINEZ, MSN, AGPCNP-BC
 
Misti Martinez is a native of Middle Tennessee and is a graduate from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing where she earned her Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing. During her course of study at Vanderbilt, she was initiated into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, Iota Chapter. Misti received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Cumberland University, located in Lebanon, TN, where she graduated Cum Laude. Misti’s previous experience includes extensive work in colon cancer research for the Jim Ayers Institute for Pre-Cancer Detection and Diagnosis at Vanderbilt University. Misti is licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Registered Nurse, and a Certified Advanced Practice Nurse. She is board certified through the ANCC as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC). Misti joined Gastroenterology and Hepatology Associates in 2013 and is excited to deliver excellent patient care. Misti and her husband, Miguel, have two daughters and enjoy spending time with their close friends and family.
